Annett started work on the 22 paintings of the major arcana in 1993, they remain one of the largest, physical decks in the world. Shepherd joined her in co-writing the text in 1998 after the works were shown in Milton Keynes City Gallery. Annett began to develop the minor arcana and court cards using paint, print, photography and photoshop in 1999. It is one of the earliest digital tarots and Annett also worked with Turner, Shepherd and Bancroft to produce a digital, interactive, on line tarot which was never released. The possibility for a truly random shuffle was not available at this time. The book and cards have a forward by Stephen Snoddy and were published in 2003.
