Lino and Intaglio

Annett travaille avec La Livresse, Eva Loubrieu, l'association partenaire ATELIER MELUSINE et l'association LIVRESSE D'art pour organiser un atelier de gravure d'une journée avec les élèves et le personnel du lycée Jean Mouline de Montmorillon. Annett a apporté sa presse à imprimer portable pour enseigner deux techniques de gravure distinctes aux élèves qui travaillaient sur un projet de fabrication de livres avec Loubrieu. 30 étudiants avaient 6 heures pour sculpter une plaque de lino, graver (en taille-douce) une plaque de zinc et imprimer les deux, le lino comme une réduction à deux ou trois couleurs, la taille-douce comme une impression monochrome. Les étudiants ont travaillé incroyablement dur et les résultats ont été plus de 60 impressions extrêmement réussies.

Annett working with La Livresse, Eva Loubrieu, partnering Association ATELIER MELUSINE and Association LIVRESSE D’art to deliver a one day, printmaking workshop with students and staff from the Lyceé Jean Mouline, Montmorillon.
Annett brought her portable printing press to teaching two separate printmaking techniques to the students who were working on a book making project with Loubrieu. 30 students had 6 hours to carve a lino plate, engrave (intaglio) a zinc plate, and print both, the lino as a two or three colour reduction, the intaglio a monochrome print. The students worked incredibly hard and the results were 60+ extremely successful prints.

Annett additionally delivered training to the volunteers at English Heritage to assist with their interpretation of the works to members of the public, which included 60,000 visitors for the Antiques Roadshow.
Workshops over several days at Wrest Park with local specialist schools, focussing on landscape painting using professional materials; oils and acrylics.
